The Yorkshire Grey

It's a rare pub that ticks all the boxes, service, ale and food all superb. Freindly, knowledgeable and attentive. We had 4 in our party, 1 celiac and 1 with nut allergies both were given great service and assurance. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening, I strongly recommend a visit. Well done Yorkshire Grey.

Me and my nan went for lunch here and we had a fantastic meal. My nan has recommended this place for a while as she goes often but I’ve never been. I had the Mac and cheese and I chose a salad with it, every part was delicious, very well plated and a nice variety of salad veg with lovely dressing. The Mac and cheese was very nice and I would definitely have it again. My nan had the quiche which she couldn’t talk enough good of, she loved it and enjoyed her side of salad and new potatoes as well. The staff were lovely as well, all happy and smiling and more than happy to make sure everything was good and up for a nice chat. All in all, a lovely lunch time and would definitely recommend!

Excellent lunch, spotlessly clean and lots of friendly attentive staff. A great pub to bring you family as good well maintainedgardens with sitting outside as well as lots of tables inside.

Was looking for a pub in the area that was both open and serving food on a Monday. Found the Yorkshire Grey. The food and friendly service couldn't be faulted. Large, hot, and tasty portions at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Lovely food and fabulous service. We’ve been looking for a place which does a proper roast in a while. Not carvery with dry veg but the best cauliflower cheese and some really crispy roast potatoes. Some amazing puddings too! Already booked our next visit.

First time going here and was not disappointed. Booked a table for 4 staff gave us plenty of time to order didn't have to wait too long and the food excelled expectations. Nice and hot, tasty and large portion size. Highly recommend will definitely be back

Stumbled on this little gem by accident... The welcome, beer and service are fantastic and the food was stunning!!! I had a steak and kidney pie which was quite possibly the best I've ever had. An absolutely amazing place, you won't be disappointed!!!

Stopped in for breakfast on bank holiday Monday the venue is immaculate very bright warm and welcoming I sat in the bar area which was dog friendly and had a very nice freshly cooked English breakfast which was both tasty and represented good value for money, the ingredients I believe our sourced locally And are of a very high standard. I will definitely recommend this venue and I will be returning again I also found out they do a pie fest on the second Thursday of the month and by the sounds of it it will be worth a visit.
